I am a candidate for County Legislator in the 24th District in Monroe County. I intend to bring new ideas to the discussion. New ideas that, for political reasons, are difficult for major party candidates to provide.

We need to address squarely the issues of transparency and corruption in our county government. We also need to take practical steps to address the problems we face in our communities. Monroe County and the City of Rochester are great places to live, but we need to ensure prosperity for and protect the rights of everyone. With a little hard work and ingenuity, I believe we can make our community the best place to live in America.

From the beginning, I have chosen not to seek the support of any part of the political establishment. If I win, it will be entirely due to my own efforts, and those of my personal supporters. This means I will not require the support of the political establishment should I seek re-election. I will be able to do what I believe is right without regard to political pressures.

This year I have received the endorsement of both the Green Party and the Libertarian Party, although I will only appear on the Green Party line. We all have a stake in ensuring good government for our community.
